Do you know of a respite program that uses students as respite providers? Survey results will be used to help create a free downloadable toolkit to promote the development of respite programs that engage students as respite providers.
We would greatly appreciate if you could also share this invite within your networks, as appropriate.
This project is led by Dr. Kim Whitmore, Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in partnership with the Respite Care Association of Wisconsin. Funding for this project is provided by the Lifespan Respite Grant Program from the Administration for Community Living (Grant No. 90LRLI0032-01-00).

BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY: Seeking Participants for Self-Direction and COVID Study

Researchers at Brandeis University are conducting a study on the experiences of people with disabilities who self-direct Medicaid-funded HCBS during the pandemic. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

- Adults, 18 and over, with any type of disability, chronic illness/disease, mental or physical health condition are encouraged to participate.
- The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete.
- Responses are anonymous.
- The survey may look familiar to you. It was posted in 2018 and 2019, and is being posted for a third time now. We welcome participation from those who completed it before and those who have never done it before.
ADMINISTRATION FOR COMMUNITY LIVING: National Survey: Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed Care

The Center on Aging and Trauma of The Jewish Federations of North America’s Holocaust Survivor Initiative, invites organizations to participate in a national survey on Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed (PCTI) Care. This ACL grantee is working to build the capacity of aging service providers to provide PCTI care to older adults with a history of trauma as well as their family caregivers. They are conducting this survey to collect information on the current capacity of organizations to provide this type of care.
Responses are anonymous. Only one survey should be submitted by an organization. Respondents are strongly encouraged to coordinate with colleagues to reduce multiple responses from a single organization. Only U.S. organizations should participate.

SABE Survey for Voters with a Disability |
The SABE GoVoter Survey asks people with disabilities to share their experience in the November election. SABE stands for Self Advocates Becoming Empowered. The survey looks at accessibility and disability voter access at the polls. The Disability Vote Coalition will use survey results to advocate with elected officials to make improvements to our voting system. |

The Great Lakes ADA Center is conducting a research to identify emerging practices to support disability inclusion in the context of the pandemic. They are looking for members of disability employee resource or affinity groups, and diversity and inclusion professionals to interview. Participation includes a 30-40 minute interview via a web-based platform where participants will be asked about their work experiences, success stories, and resources to support disability inclusion in the workplace.
Findings will be disseminated widely through the center and various disability and business-related networks. All responses will remain confidential and anonymous, with all shared results being de-identified.
