From the beginning, “This Is My Sister” was going to be a handmade film. Every frame has my DNA on it in some form because it was made over the last two years, though its inception was really six years ago as I witnessed one of the sisters stand and say “And This Is My Sister”. Words that still resonate deep within me today. As I give this story to the world, it is altogether fitting that I dedicate this film to the families and extended support staff that have given their love to their sisters, brothers, fathers, mothers and friends.
