This Is My Sister is a new movie that will be shown on Wisconsin Public Television on Friday, May 25th. I'd love to hear from those of you who watch it. What did you think of it? tomorrow's the big day! We are having a group get together to watch it, can't wait!I know nothing about it except that I Mary and her sister today. It's a documentary I believe and starts back in a time much unlike today..... I am excited and am sure to be full of comments. Hope you will join me.....

Was not able to find showing on WPT on May 25. Any chance it will be shown again in another venue, time, or on DVD? I'm an adult sib of an older brother w/ DD/ID. We've lived together for the last 27 years. I'm very interested in connecting w/ other adult sibs in Wisconsinwho want toshare our unique but also common experiences as sibs. It is a journey in and of itself... and so often goes untold.

I've been connecting w/ FVSSN (Fox Valley Sibling Support Network)in Appleton w/ Harriet Redman for the last year. She and I have had ongoing discussions ofthe need for ADULT siblings in Wisconsin to connect and network. I believe w/ the (National) Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) she is working w/ othersto try to address this need around our nation as well as our state and local communities. I would like to connect w/ any other interested sibs in Wisconsin who would like to work togetherto help develop and maintain a network of support for one another. It would indeed help if the SDS Network couldfacilitate this effort in some way.
