@ Virtual

Vertical access between different levels along accessible routes is a crucial aspect of accessibility. This webinar on Thursday, April 4 at 1:30 p.m. (CT) will address the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and clarify common sources of confusion when providing vertical access. Questions such as, “Does my building require an elevator?”, “When can I use a lift?”, or “When can I use a Limited Use Limited Application (LULA) elevator?” will be answered. Additionally, the presenters will review the scoping and technical requirements for elevators, platform lifts, and stairs. This session includes real-time captioning and video remote sign language interpreting. Individuals may submit questions in advance during the registration process and during the live session.

For more information or to register, visit Great Lakes ADA Center’s Vertical Access: Elevators, Lifts, and Stairs webinar webpage.
