@ Madison Municipal Building, Room 206 and Virtual
You can make a difference in the city of Madison's emergency planning! Share your experiences and ideas as a deaf and/or disabled person.
The Department of Civil Rights Equity and Social Justice Division has partnered with the Madison Fire Department to develop a guide for Accessible and Inclusive Emergency Management. Your input in the conversation will directly inform the content of the guide. City staff from Emergency Management, Madison Fire, and the Department of Civil Rights will be present to listen, learn, and problem-solve with community members.
This event will center the experiences of people who are deaf and/or disabled. However, ALL are welcome.
Hosted by: Alex Brady and Rebecca Hoyt, Disability Rights and Services Program
