The Great Lakes ADA Center invites you to register for the upcoming ADA Audio session titled “ Making Flexible Work – ADA and Flexible Work Arrangements” featuring:
- Robert Gould, Clinical Associate Professor, Director of Research, Great Lakes ADA Center, Department of Disability and Human Development at UIC
- Marcy Hintzman, Project Coordinator, Great Lakes ADA Center, UIC
As the landscape of work is rapidly evolving, flexible work arrangements and accommodations such as telework, and flexible scheduling are increasingly sought after to support the success and retention of a broad range of workers. This session will provide an overview of evaluating such requests under the ADA and practical ways of implementing flexible work accommodations. Additionally, the findings of a multi-year federally funded study regarding the experience of employees with disabilities with such arrangements who work in large businesses will be discussed. Individuals will be able to submit questions for the speaker in advance during the registration process.
