With warm weather comes an increase in outdoor social activities including outdoor dining, retail, and community gatherings such as music festivals, street carnivals, parades and farmers markets. In this webinar on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm, presenters will address the accessibility of outdoor dining, retail and other social gatherings that take place in the public right-of-way. The presentation will highlight provisions in the ADA Standards and PROWAG that pertain to making these outdoor experiences accessible for people with disabilities. For more information or to register, visit the Great Lakes ADA Center’s webinar webpage. All webinars include video remote interpreting (VRI) and real-time captioning. Questions can be submitted in advance of the session or can be posed during the live webinar. Webinar attendees can earn continuing education credits. The webinar series is hosted by the ADA National Network in cooperation with the Board. Archived copies of previous Board webinars are available on the site. |
