DISABILITY SCOOP: Sephora Introduces ‘Quiet Hours’ At Stores Worldwide
According to an article from Disability Scoop, Sephora has announced that it will introduce "quiet hours" at its stores globally to provide a calmer, more welcoming shopping environment for neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive customers. During these designated times, stores will dim screens and turn down background music, allowing clients to shop at their own pace. This worldwide rollout follows a successful pilot program across 32 stores and was developed in partnership with disability inclusion agencies Open Inclusion and Purposeful Futures, making Sephora the first major beauty retailer to implement sensory-friendly hours on a global scale.
