The Wisconsin Disability Policy Leadership Program, an innovative program to empower people with developmental disabilities and their family members to engage in policy advocacy and leadership launches the Internship Application today. This program is funded by Common Good Philanthropies, with an aim to foster inclusive communities. Who Should Apply? The Fellowship Program is open to individuals with developmental disabilities and family members of people with developmental disabilities who are committed to disability rights advocacy. Individuals with experience with state or local advocacy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The session will provide the details about the program and the application process. In addition, we will provide information about writing a good application and interviews skills. You will have a chance to ask questions. Register in advance for this meeting at the link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. I will be recording and anyone who is registered will receive the recording and the PowerPoint after the session.
