We must make sure that people with disabilities are counted in the 2020 census, to ensure recognition of our diverse communities in every way -- program funding, voting, city planning, education, employment, and more. Join the call to learn about and discuss how we can make sure disabled people participate in the census, despite the barriers. We'll hear from people who have planned census outreach targeting people with disabilities, and we'll learn from people doing census outreach in other marginalized communities. Join us!
Speakers:
* Vanessa Cuellar and Allie Cannington, California Foundation for Independent Living Centers
* Erika Hudson, National Disability Rights Network
* Others to be announced.
We'll be on video! Click the Zoom link above and turn on your webcam, or you can just call in from your phone. Please test your webcam and speakers before the call.
Accommodations & CART:
The call will have real-time captioning (CART) at: https://2020archive.1capapp.com/event/forum/. No username and password needed, when you log on at the time of the call.
