WEBINAR DESCRIPTION: 
This training will cover what Section 504 is, what schools must do because of it, the criteria for students to qualify for a 504 accommodation plan, and how 504s are different from IEPs. We will also cover how section 504 can help people with disabilities in college and in the workplace and provide information on Section 504 grievance procedures. 

PRESENTER: Matthew Zellmer, WI FACETS 
Matthew Zellmer joined the WI FACETS staff in 2009 as the Transition Coordinator for the Youth Information Training and Resources Center grant after serving on the project’s youth steering committee for two years. He also serves as the Director of the Milwaukee County Transition Advocacy grant and is the Lead Help Desk Specialist on Wisconsin's Parent Training and Information Center Grant. In addition, he serves on the WI Rehabilitation Council and other state and local committees related to transition. Matthew graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2003 with a degree in broadcast journalism, then earned his Master’s in communication from there in 2006.
