Webinar: Building Block Requirements in ADA and ABA Standards

Thursday April 2 2020, 2:30 PM - Thursday April 2 2020, 4:00 PM
@ Online

The next webinar in the U.S. Access Board's free monthly series will take place April 2 from 1:30 – 3:00 (CT) and will review the "Building Block" provisions in the ADA and ABA Accessibility Standards (Chapter 3). These requirements are the foundation for many technical specifications in standards and apply to a wide range of elements, spaces, and rooms. They address ground and floor surfaces, clear floor space, knee and toe clearances, turning space, reach ranges, operable parts, and protruding objects. Presenters will address common sources of confusion and frequently asked questions about these provisions.

Visit www.accessibilityonline.org for more information or to register. Questions can be submitted in advance of the session or can be posed during the live webinar. Webinar attendees can earn continuing education credits. The webinar series is hosted by the ADA National Network in cooperation with the Board. Archived copies of previous Board webinars are available on the site.
