Coffee Break Discussion: An Update on the State Budget Proposal

What a great discussion about the State Budget Proposal on the Coffee Break Tuesday morning! Special thanks to Lynn Breedlove, board president for InControl Wisconsin, for joining us as our special guest!  There were several points discussed.  Some of them include: The Joint Finance Committee has begun voting on parts of the budget.  They’ll likely get to Long-Term Care (LTC) sometime this month.  It appears they dislike the budget proposal, but it’s unclear what they will do instead.  The…See More

I am loving retirement.  I can't remember feeling so relaxed and "In control" before.  After a year of travel, reading, and generally enjoying life, I've started to do some consulting.  For the next six months I'm handling marketing and fund raising for Leadership Wisconsin.   I hope you can come to the conference in Green Bay April 24-25: conference.leadershipwisconsin.org  I never want to work full time again, but it's fun to do enough to keep in the loop and see colleagues.  If you hear of anyone who needs a writer/editor/speaker/trainer/baker, let me know.
