However, as of today, the State Budget is on hold as legislators negotiate what's in and what's out. While there seems to be little chance that the full legislature and the Governor will change what the Joint Finance…See More

Cogworld Conference at Holy Wisdom Retreat Center

July 28, 2015 from 8am to 12pm
In Wisconsin we have systems of long-term support that sometimes blossom in ways that make room for people with disabilities to be engaged, productive, connected, and successful. When these opportunities open, it is not by random accident. It happens when people who rely on support have the investment of others who care about them to capably assist in propelling the person’s vision of what could be. Successfully assisting in the person’s pursuit of such a vision requires skills that may seem,…See More

I am loving retirement.  I can't remember feeling so relaxed and "In control" before.  After a year of travel, reading, and generally enjoying life, I've started to do some consulting.  For the next six months I'm handling marketing and fund raising for Leadership Wisconsin.   I hope you can come to the conference in Green Bay April 24-25: conference.leadershipwisconsin.org  I never want to work full time again, but it's fun to do enough to keep in the loop and see colleagues.  If you hear of anyone who needs a writer/editor/speaker/trainer/baker, let me know.
